YOUR HOME PORT, WHEREVER YOU GO
Your map.
Wherever you go.
One optional account for your desktop destinations, settings and Home Port. Manage devices and keep your logins in a separate encrypted vault.
Sign in or create an account
Use your email address. We’ll send a six-digit code; no password required. A new account is created after successful verification. Existing accounts use the same flow. Codes expire after ten minutes.
WELCOME ABOARD
Your Wayfarer account
YOUR PERSONAL SETUP
Your portable profile
Destinations, browser settings, custom skins and Home Port travel together. Passwords stay in a separate encrypted vault.
Open Settings → Account & automatic sync in Wayfarer and sign in on each device. Signing in here manages your account; it does not sign the browser in. Android automatic sync is still planned.
Where do I find my profile export?
In the desktop browser, open Home Port → Customize Home Port → Across devices → Export portable profile. Upload the JSON file here, then download and import it on another device. Updates from another device cause a revision conflict instead of silently overwriting your copy.
SEPARATE. ENCRYPTED. YOURS.
Password vault Beta
Store and manage logins here. Encryption and decryption happen in this page; the service stores an encrypted envelope. This beta has not had an independent security audit. Browser autofill and automatic password capture are not included yet.
Use a unique master passphrase of at least 15 characters. Email codes sign you into your account, but cannot unlock your vault. Keep your passphrase and an encrypted backup safe: Hamelton Software cannot recover a forgotten vault passphrase.
Import passwords from Google Password Manager or another browser
Export passwords as CSV from Chrome / Google Password Manager, Edge, Firefox or Safari, then choose that file. Parsing and encryption happen here; the CSV is never uploaded. Exported CSV files contain readable passwords. Remove the export from your device after importing.

Unlock, backups & security
The vault locks after five minutes without interaction and when this page is hidden. Set an optional session PIN below after unlocking with your passphrase. The encrypted PIN key stays in memory only and disappears on reload or sign-out. Five failed PIN attempts disable it for this session.
Encrypted backups require the same master passphrase used when exported. Importing a backup merges its logins with your unlocked vault after review.
MAKE YOURSELF AT HOME
Account settings
These preferences belong to your account website. Desktop browser settings are managed separately in Wayfarer.
Email codes verify access to your inbox. Website sessions use secure HttpOnly cookies and expire after 30 days without renewal. Rename and remove sessions under Devices & account. Your vault passphrase stays separate from account sign-in.
Changing your email address, passkeys and two-factor recovery are not available in this beta.
ACCOUNT CONTROLS
Signed-in devices
Revoke sessions you no longer use. This does not remove files already stored on those devices.
Delete account
This permanently deletes the account, its device sessions, stored profile and encrypted password vault from the live service. Files already saved on your computers are kept. Hosting backups expire separately.
Your data, your choice
Wayfarer does not require an account to browse. Account data includes your verified email address, device names, session timestamps and the portable profiles you upload. Verification requests have short expiry times and abuse limits. This website keeps you signed in for up to 30 days using secure, HttpOnly cookies. Sign out on shared computers. Your vault still requires its master passphrase after reloading.
Portable profiles contain bookmarks, browser preferences, Home Port blocks, CSS, themes and embedded images. Browser exports exclude passwords, cookies, browsing history, page notes and crash reports. Review files before uploading. Profiles are stored on Hamelton Software’s server over HTTPS; profile sync does not provide end-to-end encryption. The separate password vault is encrypted in your browser using AES-256-GCM and PBKDF2-SHA256 with 600,000 iterations. Vault passphrases and session PINs are not sent to the server.
You can download your profile, revoke devices or delete your account. Existing hosting backups may retain older copies until their normal expiry. For account questions, contact bugs@hameltonsoftware.com.
