Wayfarer 0.15.0-beta.5

In this release

• What’s New starts at the top and closes on backdrop clicks.
• A wider styled toolbar picker and a water-fill Wayfarer loading symbol on the right.
• A dedicated website guide to the single-shelf toolbar system, with a historical clutter comparison.
• Tab Camp: optional background-page unloading, idle and awake-tab budgets, Keep Awake controls and protections for edited fields, playing media, active downloads and developer tools. Parked tabs reload their address; transient page state and tab history are not preserved.
• Vertical tabs on either side, horizontal layout restoration and close-left/right/other-tab menus.
• Expanded context menus: direct video/audio file URLs, playback controls, link text, frames, selected-text search, source and PDF.
• General settings for Uncharted tab behavior, search engine, home destination, download prompts, spelling and default zoom.
• Native toolbar SDK, bundled Add-ons catalog and reviewed JSON import/export.
• Web Explorer and Developer Instruments toolbars share a single row with Guno.
• Enable/disable, removal undo, session toolbar safe mode and developer examples; executable extensions and community publishing remain planned.
• A clearer labeled toolbar, update notification and Updates tab with verified in-browser ZIP downloads.
• Gobsworth chat opens and hides from a message button, with direct links to highlighted settings.
• A version-specific What’s New popup, tab muting and duplication, and 37 refreshed interface screenshots.
• Fixed missing right-click menus on pages, links, images and browser fields; editing actions target the clicked field.
• Custom browser skins with JSON / CSS palette import, export and optional account sync.
• Color Lab, local CMS/framework/plugin inspection and visible/full-page/area screenshot tools with PNG, WebP, JPEG and PDF.
• Full Settings browser tab with grouped categories, search and a clearer settings gear.
• Gobsworth’s personal homepage, deterministic question-to-setting navigation and precise highlights without automatic preference changes.
• Optional local English writing hints, reviewed corrections, per-site controls and native dictionary context-menu suggestions.
• Gobsworth: rotating local thoughts, three personalities, timing and nap controls, site-category opinions, fortunes, tab receipts and a secret handshake.
• A cleaner toolbar, hovered-link destinations in the status bar, and HTTPS SECURE / red HTTP UNSECURE indicators.
• Automatic and manual checks for new beta releases, with a download prompt and an off switch.
• New website with actual interface captures and a shared latest-beta release feed.
• Eight browser skins, Captain’s Cabinet, source, Find, MHTML archives, PDF and closed-tab recovery.
• Touch Grass safely parks website addresses in a Journey; optional Tab Goblin and clipboard Messages in Bottles.
• Custom Home Port blocks, themes, backgrounds, full CSS import/export and portable profiles.
• Destinations with folders and drag-and-drop, notes, Journeys, built-in protection, Guno and Wiby discovery.
• Optional account sync and reviewed beta feedback drafts.
